[The video kicks in, showing a young blond man who’s looking mildly amused.]
All right, guys, while it is pretty awesome that you’ve somehow pulled off getting me here without me knowing, this particular prank is really not funny. I’m disappointed in you, I know you guys can do much better. So just give me the kill code for this program now, and maybe you won’t have to fear retaliation. Maybe.
[There’s silence for a brief moment, as Bobby gives in and admits that, no, this isn’t the kind of thing his friends would pull. Not so soon after Alcatraz. Another prank, sure, but not one like this. His smile fades a bit, and when he speaks again, he sounds more subdued.]
If the world’s been unmade, does that mean all the people on it were, too? Cause, uh, I’ve seen people being unmade, and it didn’t look fun. Or reversible. How are you putting it right? Will everything that was unmade be back, even if it’s been a little while? And if you’re making our homes new, are they going to be the same as they were before, or can we request a few changes?
[He’s not really serious about that last part. Nice as it would be, he’s not the one who should be deciding things like that. No one should, really. This whole thing makes him nervous. He’s seen what can happen when people have that kind of power.]
Ro? Kitty? Logan, Pete?
[There are too many names that should be on that list that aren’t, but now’s not the time to think about that.]
Anyone else here?

[Sobering, Chloe gives a fake gasp.] You doubt my costume designs? How could the wigs be anything else?
You never know! How was I supposed to know you're not only the all mighty director, but have mad costume designing skills? You could have been luring me into a false sense of security and then sprung some boring, uncrazy wig on me when I least suspected it.
I am not only the director and costume designer, I am also the screen writer! So you had better be careful what you say or you may find your character spouting lame lines and dying early in a completely uneventful manner. [Sage nod, but a hint of a smile seeps through as she attempts to keep her composure.]
Well... we could always color your hair gray. No wig required.
[Her eyes are sparkling with mirth as she imagines his horror at the idea.]
[And he obliges her by gasping in mostly mock horror.]
Hey. No one touches the hair. I'm not that dedicated to this particular art.
[Video] - LOOOOOOOOOL!!!!!
[Then she gives a small laugh, attempting to hide it behind her hand before giving up and lowering her hand, beaming. She can't help it. She needs to know. His comedic attitude reminds her so much of Simon.] Have you ever bleached your hair for a girl?
[Video] XD
[And that question is totally random, but Bobby goes with it.]
I am a natural blond, thank you. Okay, dirty blond, but it still counts.
[She smirks, a bit of a chuckle escaping. Now where had she heard that before?] Sure. That's what they all say. [She is joking, of course.]
[The smirk is met with one of his own, and he points at her. The journal. Whatever.]
Whoever told you that was lying. Lies and slander.
[Then she's grinning, laughing again.] It is, is it? You calling him a liar?
[Which is something of a success for him, given his chosen career path.]
Wait, wait, wait. There's a specific him now? Has one of our own kind been leading you astray?
[Aaaand, that laughter he seems to strive so much for.] Yes, there is a specific him. Simon. He has told me his dirty secret, and now it makes me wonder what else is out there. [She narrows her eyes suspiciously at him, moving a pretend monocle to one eye.]
Yeah? You don't look twelve to me.
[He's used to that, with his girl BFF. Kitty may be not much younger than him, but she kind of looks twelve.]
Tsk, Simon. Giving away blond secrets. Well, I guess it's okay, since you're a fellow blond.
...but also, still no bleach here.
Thanks. [Grins, wondering if he was humoring her.]
Yeah, no bleach here for me, either. I did dye red streaks through my hair once, though. [And dyed it black--but...that hadn't really been a choice on her part.]
It's the truth.
[He smiles warmly at her. He's not really humoring her (she doesn't actually look twelve), but he'd have said it even if she did. He's had a lot of practice with Kitty.]
Oh, red streaks? Gimme a second.
[He makes a rectangle with the forefingers and thumbs of his hands, holding them over her (the journal), then nods.]
Yup, I can totally see it. Red'd be a good look on you.
[Blushes lightly, shaking her head avidly with a grin, but she relents and accepts him at his word.] Thanks.
[Laughs at his antics, rolling her eyes and giving him a look at his outrageous actions.]
Yeah, well... I'm not so sure I should say the same to you. [She copies him, holding up her thumb and forefinger in a mirrored version of his.] Yep. You're definitely a cool colors type of guy. Blues and greens for you. It's your eyes.
[And then he gives a laugh, the first time in this conversation he's done so, despite be clearly amused before. Yeah, he's definitely a cool colors guy. He's just going to grin at her look, and it widens when she copies his movements.]
Blue does tend to make my eyes just pop.
[Or possibly it's his mutation. He's not entirely sure what makes his eyes that blue.]
[Grins widely, glad she was able to make him laugh for a change.]
Your eyes are an intense shade. [Light shrug.] It suits you. [She doesn't mean anything by it, jus saying it how she saw it.]
[Video] (Seriously, Shawn Ashmore is a mutant. There's no other explanation for eyes that blue.)
[He smiles at that.]
Yeah? Thanks. I'm used to them, I guess.
[Video] hahahahaha
[nods] It's you. That's all there is to it.
[smiles, then sobers somewhat.] Have you talked to anyone about this place? Or should I give you the low down?
I haven't talked to anyone, yet. Just read the note and tried to contact people.
[Since he didn't have his communicator with him, he'd gone for the journal. Hadn't turned out exactly the way he'd hoped, though.]
Low down away.
Um. Th-there's kind of a lot to go over. I've only been here a month, too, so...
Wh-which room number is yours? Maybe we should meet while I explain or... or give you a tour.
[Not to have been taken himself, because he'd needed to be there, but there are a few people that could have used 'saving.' But he cuts off there, because he'd been rambling again and she'd already suggested meeting before she explained.
And really, that she's been here a month is only a further point that there's more to this than what the note said.]
Uh, sorry. Yeah, meeting would be great. Uh, hang on, let me check.
[He disappears from sight for a moment as he goes to check his room number, then reappears.]
4153. I'll leave the door open.
Oh. Okay. [Chloe had meant to see if he lived on her floor, but Bobby seemed harmless enough. And he offered to leave his door open.]
I'm on my way.
[Video] --> [Commentlog]
Instead, he gives her a slight smile.]
Proof is always the most important thing. I should know, I'm the math guy.
[Bobby nods at that.]
I'll be here.
[And he's just going to go wait in the hall, actually. He'll be leaning against his door frame, in the uniform he showed up in, and fiddling with his journal.]
[Video] --> [Commentlog]
She sees him standing in the hall, suddenly thankful they were using the video feed so it was less difficult to get confused.]
Hey. [She gives a small smile and wave as she approaches.]
