[Bobby's outside, holding the journal facing towards him with one hand and tossing a snowball with the other.]
I promise this is not my fault! I had absolutely nothing to do with this.
[Not that anyone except for maybe two people would have any reason to suspect him. But he's too used to having to give a disclaimer every time snow comes when it probably shouldn't have.]
But since it is here and awesome, I am totally taking advantage of it.
Does anyone like ice skating? Someone go skating with me, guys!
[There's a pause as he throws the snowball high up into the air and lets it fall back to the ground.]
Or if we can get enough people, I am all in for a game of snow capture the flag.
[It is SNOWING, and Bobby is the happiest mutant ever right now. Reply here or come bug him outside? He's wandering around all over, so if it's some place outside, feel free to run into him there.]

So it's not until the snowball is released that Bobby notices Asuka's nearby, and even that's only because he can sense the cold coming off the object flying towards him. He turns, but doesn't duck, because the moisture on this snowball is off, and now he's curious.
When it hits him and the water goes splashing everywhere, Bobby's startled for a second before he laughs, slightly dripping and amused.]
If that wasn't so awesome, you'd totally be getting a face full of snow.
[Commentlog]
Not like that hasn't already happened today!
It's like I told you earlier--you were only half right.
[Commentlog]
Maybe only a face half full of snow, since you were nice enough to provide clean-up.
That is so cool! So are you fire and ice, or fire and water?
[Commentlog]
Fire and water. You remember I was talking about the summoners earlier? That's the only way to be able to control two elements like that.
[Commentlog]
[He grins. It's not like he actually could catch hypothermia, but that's beside the point.]
So you're one of those summoners, in charge of making sure your village has water? That's pretty epic.
[Commentlog]
Yeah, I'm one of them. [A shrug, though the smile on his face may give away his pride.] Since I was sixteen.
[That said, he allows his attention to be recaptured by the snowman Bobby was building. He's seen a couple of them (Equius had been building one!), and he's curious.]
So what're you building here, anyways?
[Commentlog]
That's really cool, man.
[And then his own attention is turned back to the snowman, and he grins.]
Oh! It's a snowman. It's a tradition on my world. I have no real idea why, actually, but I'm not going to protest anything that involves making stuff out of snow. People can get really detailed with them and make all sorts of sculptures, but I went with the standard three ball version.
[He eyes the unfinished snowman, which is currently just the three balls stacked on each other, with slight depressions where his eyes and such should be.]
Now I've just got to find him stuff for his face. And buttons. And some sticks for arms. And maybe a scarf.
[Commentlog]
...why does he need a scarf? It's not hot out.
[This is crazy talk :C]
[Commentlog]
Yeah, I've always wondered that, too. If anything, wouldn't he need something to keep him colder? That's tradition, too, but I have no clue how it started
[Commentlog]
Snowmen are weird.
[Bam.]
I bet we could find buttons in the clothing tower, though.
[Commentlog]
Yeah, they kind of are. Especially for someone who hasn't grown up with them and isn't just used to them.
[Which is an interesting thing to consider, actually. Having to explain so many things that he's just taken for granted on his world to people from other worlds, and hearing about them in return, is making him look at things differently.
Well. Kind of. But not in a way that he's not completely distracted again at the mention of buttons.]
We probably could! I wonder if I could pinch a carrot from the kitchen for his nose, too.
[Commentlog]
...I bet you could get one, though.
[ooc: comment was too long for the header XD BUT I suddenly feel like Asuka and Bobby should find out what happens if they leave the snowman alone...]
[Commentlog]
I definitely think a button and carrot finding mission is in order. Just let me put his stick arms in first.
[ooc: ...yeah, I totally agree with this. XD want to have them leave and come back?]
[Commentlog]
Snowmen are just weird.]
[ooc: So much yes! Feel free to skip it forward in your next tag if you'd like?]
[Commentlog]
Bobby sticks the branches he'd found into the sides of the snowman, adjusting them a bit so they actually resemble arms, then he nods and dusts off his hands.]
Fear not, Mr. Snowman, we'll return to actually give you a face.
[He gives the snowman a salute, then turns to head back towards the Keep.]
[Commentlog]
So when the first snowball hits the back of his head, he's not expecting it.
Immediately Asuka swings around, looking at Bobby.]
Hey! That was dirty.
[Commentlog]
And then, of course, Asuka's blaming Bobby for it.]
What? Me? I didn-
[He pauses.]
There's so no point in trying to convince you I didn't do that, is there? No one ever believes the guy who says he didn't throw something until they actually find the big monster or whatever it is that's really responsible.
[Not to mention they've already had a conversation about how Bobby probably deserves it when people blame him for things.]
[Commentlog]
You didn't do it? ...okay, I'll believe you.
[He grins.]
But you have to lead now.
[Commentlog]
That was easier than I thought.
[And then he laughs.]
I knew it was too easy. All right, I'm leading, but watch out. Someone's throwing stuff.
[There is a hidden attacker out there. A sneaky hidden attacker, but Bobby's totally keeping an eye out, now.
What a shame he doesn't suspect the snowman at all.]
[Commentlog]
I believe in giving people the benefit of the doubt. At least the first time.
[Asuka's keeping an eye out as they start off again too, but like Bobby, he doesn't suspect their snowman to be the culprit. But he -does- see the snowball when it passes him up, and actually almost gets the start of a warning out!
Almost.
How'd you do, Bobby? Notice that snowball flying in time?]
[Commentlog]
I knew I liked you.
[He does indeed notice it. Mostly because he's actively trying to sense any snowballs coming at him. He manages to duck, but he's still no closer to figuring out where it's coming from.
He looks around wildly.]
Okay, whoever this is? Is either invisible or the best hider ever. Or disguised as a giant pile of snow.
[Commentlog]
[But there's nobody back there! Nothing except the snowman, and Asuka's pretty sure snow doesn't move on its own. ...He thinks.]
...
Snow doesn't move on its own, right?
[JUST MAKING SURE HERE. 'Cause that's the only thing he can come up with at the moment!]
[Commentlog]
He frowns slightly at the question.]
Not unless I've gotten at it. Not usually, anyway. But here? ...for some reason, I wouldn't be surprised.
[Commentlog]
[Yeah, Asuka hasn't really noticed much out of the ordinary here. Or rather, -everything- is out of the ordinary for him.]
Got any way for us to keep an eye out on what's going on behind us?
[Because nothing's been happening when they were -facing- that way. And he doesn't exactly make it a habit to carry a mirror in his pocket!]
[Commentlog]
Bobby considers that for a moment, then brightens.]
I do, actually!
[He concentrates, forming two simple squares of ice in his hand, focusing on making it clear and reflective rather than any kind of sculpting. He offers one to Asuka.]
