[Bobby's outside, holding the journal facing towards him with one hand and tossing a snowball with the other.]

I promise this is not my fault! I had absolutely nothing to do with this.

[Not that anyone except for maybe two people would have any reason to suspect him. But he's too used to having to give a disclaimer every time snow comes when it probably shouldn't have.]

But since it is here and awesome, I am totally taking advantage of it.

Does anyone like ice skating? Someone go skating with me, guys!

[There's a pause as he throws the snowball high up into the air and lets it fall back to the ground.]

Or if we can get enough people, I am all in for a game of snow capture the flag.

[It is SNOWING, and Bobby is the happiest mutant ever right now. Reply here or come bug him outside? He's wandering around all over, so if it's some place outside, feel free to run into him there.]

Do you normally cause snow on a daily basis? [She's grinning - but, no. Seriously. Do you?]

I'll come skate with you. [She's already on her way out.]

[And now Bobby is even happier.]

Raven! Yes! Come skate with me!

[He grins back, completely thrilled.]

And no, I don't. But that doesn't stop people from blaming me, anyway.

[Pause.]

Okay, maybe it happened a few times.

I'm on it. [She's way ahead of him - she's already on her way outside, and her next response to him is...In person!]

Yeah? What, are you a master of snow and ice or something? [She comes up next to him, still grinning, but - wait a second.]

...Wait, seriously?

[Glee, it's a Raven! He grins at her when she comes up to him, and it doesn't fade at her question.]

Not really a master.

[And then he hesitates, because that 'seriously' might not be good.]

Um. Kind of?

[No, it's a good seriously and she lights up like a Christmas tree at his answer.]

You are? Really? That's amazing.

[Another mutant! Joy of joys!]

[His hesitation is gone at her response, and he beams back at her. That's officially three for three people who've responded to his power with some variation of 'awesome'.]

Thank you! I have fun with it.

And I'm sure it's probably partially why winter's always been my favorite season.

That's totally understandable.

[She's grinning widely.]

So what all can you do, huh? Go on, show off a little. [BE PROUD because she's not.]

[Aww, Raven. BE PROUD you are awesome.]

You might regret saying that. I've been called a show off before.

[But he's grinning, obviously pleased at her request. He closes one hand into a fist and holds his other hand over it for a few moments, then slowly pulls it away to reveal the long-stemmed rose made of ice he's now holding. He offers it to her with another grin.]

[AH-HA. HE SEES THIS POST.]

...now that you've said that, I'm all the more likely to blame you.

[Okay, so he's more amused now than anything else. But it's cold! So he's blaming you!

Because he can.]

I regret nothing.

[She grins and leans forward a little, rubbing her hands together to try and warm them.]

...

[She stares at it, then takes it with evident delight.]

That's...beautiful. [She holds it delicately between her fingertips and twirls it carefully, lifting it up.]

Amazing, Bobby. Seriously.

You think I would have learned by now that an instant disclaimer does nothing to stop people from blaming me.

[He's grinning cheerfully.]

Of course, they usually do it, anyway.

[He smiles, a slightly softer one than his previous wide grins, as he watches her examining the rose.]

I'm glad you like it.

[Bobby ducks his head a bit at the further praise, then his grin is back.]

It's, uh. How I was going to go ice skating. I couldn't find any skates. Not that I really looked, or anything.

Instant disclaimers make people more likely to blame you!

So why would you be responsible for this all, anyways? Are you an ice mage?

I love it. [Seriously, she does.]

...Right. I'd...kinda wondered about that. I didn't see any skates either. [Now that she thought about it, she...might have a problem skating.]

You might have to hold me up. [She sticks a booted foot out.] I don't see me getting far in these.

Okay, well. Yeah. There's that. But I had to be proactive before!

Kind of? I'm a mutant. But I can create ice and stuff, so it might be similar.

[Asuka shakes his head. He bets Bobby got into more trouble that way.]

It sounds like it! Ice mages can form or control it, and they can use it in all sorts of different ways.

[He's just going to smile almost shyly at her for a moment, before his attention is turned towards ice skating.]

Oh! I can make you some. I usually just turn shoes into ice skates by fixing an ice blade onto the bottom of them. Instant temporary skates!

[...it's possible. Maybe.]

Yup, that sounds like what I do! I'm the only one I know of who can in my world, though.

[She brightens a little bit, then plants her foot back down.]

Oh, great then! [She hasn't been skating in ages.]

Then lets do it, I'm all for it. [She has a beautiful ice rose AND found out he's a fellow mutant. Life is awesome.]

[Bobby is in total agreement with the awesome-ness of life, although his is more because it's SNOWING, Raven is going skating with him, and she likes his power. Yup. Awesome.]

Wicked! To the lake, then! I'll make 'em when we get closer to the ice, so we don't have to try and walk on them.

[He starts towards the lake.]

Good idea. I'd end up just losing my balance and falling over. [Not that she TOTALLY wouldn't use that as an excuse to cling, but. Whatever.]

And I'd hate to break my pretty flower.

And I'd try to catch you, but probably end up losing my balance, too, and then we'd both just fall over. Much safer this way. Less bruises.

[Though he would SO not object to any excuse she happened to use, or anything.]

It would be a shame. Not that I'd ever mind making you another one.

*Sollux was really hoping the lake wouldn't be frozen over like the ground, but it seemed he wasn't as lucky as he'd hoped. He pauses by the edge of it, poking the ice with a toe. Maybe he could break it open...but he didn't really have any desire to go IN the water. It was just better when it wasn't solid.

He sighs and shakes his head, pulling into the coat he grabbed out of the clothier's tower tighter around him.*

Stupid keep.

*He grunts, then snaps his head up. Was there someone on the lake? What the hell?*

Right here in the snow, a pile of two people who can't keep their balance on skates. [She laughs.] It almost sounds kinda entertaining.

[She wags a finger.]

Careful, before you know it I'll be requesting whole bouquets.

[He laughs as well.]

It does. Like one of those comedies, where two people keep trying to help each other up and only make their balance worse and fall down more.

[Then he smiles, chuckling.]

I don't usually do bouquets, but I'd make an exception for you. Just don't start telling people that.
